In this workshop, students will create their very own larger-than-life fish puppets! Along the way, they will learn basic parade puppet building skills such as creating patterns, making moving parts, and balancing weight on large puppets. Creative alterations to the project will be highly encouraged, and an emphasis on recycled materials and accessible techniques will make it easy for students to apply what they learn to future puppet projects.

We encourage participants to select the cost that they can afford. If you have a higher income or access to resources, pay a little extra to support future sliding-scale fees.
