WORKSHOPS

We offer year-round artist-led workshops at both of our community-access studios, the IOWA CITY PRESS CO-OP and the MEDIA ARTS CO-OP, and occasionally elsewhere! Workshops include introductory technical training in our print, book, and digital media studio areas; advanced, exploratory, and experimental approaches to a range of art practices; and professional development for artists.
Check out the ICPC and MAC portals for other learning opportunities including private instruction and outreach, as well as studio access.

UPCOMING WORKSHOPS

Currently we are offering workshops both virtually and in-person.
Please check each workshop description carefully for the format, location, and requirements.

Thanks to generous support from the Community Foundation of Johnson County, Kum & Go, the Johnson County Board of Supervisors, and community donors, all workshops are offered with sliding scale, pay-what-you-can registration, and All-Ages Art workshops are free!

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: If PS1 cancels a workshop for any reason, students enrolled in the workshop are entitled to a full refund or may transfer the full tuition to another workshop. If a student needs to cancel their enrollment in a workshop, they may do so until one week before the workshop is scheduled to begin.
