In these classes, you will be able to do that while practicing the Samba de Gafieira! Easy to learn and fun to practice, plus accompanied by the vibrant and colorful music of Samba, one of the most well-known musical expressions around the world.

Along with learning social dance skills and partnering combinations at the beginning/intermediate level, attendees are exposed to various performance elements related to the Afro-Brazilian diaspora, the origins of samba in Brazil and its relevance for the Latinx culture.

All are welcome! No prerequisites or prior dance experience required.

Advance registration is not required. Participants can attend as many sessions they wish (of course all sessions are recommended!)

Suggested cost: $35.00 per couple or $20.00 per single individual
