TEACHING ARTIST:
Thomas Agran is a painter and muralist, and has taught painting, drawing, and public art courses at the University of Iowa, Indiana University, Coe College, and Cornell College. Thomas has completed dozens of large scale public murals, mentored numerous community mural projects, and started and managed the Iowa City Mural Project as Director of Public Art for the Iowa City Downtown District. A member of the Public Space One board, Thomas lives around the corner from PS1 with his daughter Nina in the Northside Neighborhood.
